Yo! My name is Stephen McCann, I’m 24 years old and I work as a Multimedia Designer in Glasgow, Scotland.

“So you’re a Multimedia Designer…?”

“Yeah, I design websites and stuff…”

Which is true, however web design is not my sole interest. I also maintain social media pages, design marketing material, create presentations, produce videos, capture and manipulate images – you know, all the good stuff. Plus being part of an elite IT department I also get to stare mockingly at other employees when their “internet is broke”.

I don’t spend all my time in front of a computer. In March 2011 I arrived back in Scotland after a year living in Toronto, Canada where I worked as a baker (coding websites/baking donuts – no difference, ha). So yeah, I enjoy travelling and meeting new and exciting people.

I Rollerblade, yip as in in-line skating, as in doing super gnarly tricks, woo. I’ve been skating for around eleven years now, and I am proud to be part of the skating subculture in Glasgow, it has given me some of my closest friends, most worthwhile experiences and an ample selection of broken limbs, fractured joints and scared tissue – all in the name of good fun.

Recently myself and a few of my best friends have taken up a new method of adrenaline induction – downhill and XC mountain-biking. We are taking it pretty seriously; not Lycra clad seriously, but we have been going every weekend and my new bike has more suspension travel than most motorbikes…

I make funny noises with a Fender American Telecaster, a Boss RC-3 Looper and a DD3 delay pedal.
